Responsibility

Parents_Children

We are all someone’s child and many of us are also parents. As a parent you will have the duty of care along with that of developing trust. In addition opportunities to demonstrate accountability will continuously occur.

A person acting responsibly will often think …what will happen if I say or do this ? What consequences may result from my action?  …of course we don’t always take the time to do this but you can notice the difference in your relationships when you do.

As a parent or a child we can develop the ability to respond positively to any situation regardless of who’s fault it is or who is to blame. Fault and blame become irrelevant to the person who decides to become accountable. This is real power. The power of being responsible in any circumstance.
